Wirral Metropolitan College celebrated the achievement of the Access to Higher Education, Health students at an award ceremony held at The Conway Park Campus on Thursday 11th January 2007.
Twelve students from the Wirral Hospital Trust studied for this specialised qualification, with a 100% success rate.

The violent storms of Thursday 18th January took their toll at Wirral Metropolitan College’s Carlett Park Campus.
Several mature trees fell during the raging storm, one crashing down on the roof of a student’s car, luckily the driver and passenger escaped without injury.

Wirral Metropolitan College extended a warm welcome to students and invited guests to the official opening of The Old School House, Liscard Road, Wallasey on Friday 12th January.
Students transferring from The South Wallasey Neighbourhood college, members of the board, invited guests and friends new and old, joined Angela Eagle MP for Wallasey and our Principal Mike Potter CBE for the opening ceremony. A plaque was unveiled by Angela Eagle MP and a buffet lunch, prepared by our Catering students was enjoyed by all who attended. Floristry students from the St James Centre provided beautiful floral displays for the event.
