Old School House opened

Wirral Metropolitan College extended a warm welcome to students and invited guests to the official opening of The Old School House, Liscard Road, Wallasey on Friday 12th January.
Students transferring from The South Wallasey Neighbourhood college, members of the board, invited guests and friends new and old, joined Angela Eagle MP for Wallasey and our Principal Mike Potter CBE for the opening ceremony. A plaque was unveiled by Angela Eagle MP and a buffet lunch, prepared by our Catering students was enjoyed by all who attended. Floristry students from the St James Centre provided beautiful floral displays for the event.
There are many exciting courses to meet the needs of our learners at The Old School House. Courses include IT – from short courses to improve career options – to courses designed to help learners gain employment (Gateway to Employment and Interface Gateway to Office Technologies).
