NVQ Level 1 Beauty Therapy students raised an impressive £533.14 at a fundraising event for Claire House on Wednesday 21st March. The event was held in the Conway Park foyer and attracted many supporters.
The students organised a sale of merchandise from Claire House, held raffles and sold cakes that
they had baked.
A very successful Drive Survive course was held at Winsford Fire Station on Friday
16th March, it was attended by Mike Penning MP for Hemel Hempstead, the Chief Constable, Mike Potter CBE and staff and students of Wirral Met.
Students from previous Drive Survive courses were so moved by the presentations given they decided to raise funds in support of the North West Air Ambulance. A cheque for £100 was presented to PC Martin Clarke by Jason Savage on behalf of the students.

On Friday 2nd March Wirral Met hosted the JISC North West Regional Support Centre’s Moodle User and Interest Group event.
The event was extremely well attended with over 40 delegates from across 28 FE institutions from across the region.
