The Hospitality and Catering section was approached by Simon Pierce, Acting Director of Area, LSC Greater Merseyside to provide students to assist at their ‘All Staff Conference’. The conference was held at the Manchester Hilton Hotel, for 350 delegates.
Students studying for the Diploma; Introduction to Professional Cookery, responded to the request . At 7.15am on Tuesday 25 November they left Conway Park, driven by their tutor Steve Astles.
Prior to this Ian Rodgers Marketing Manager for the Greater Merseyside Learning and Skills Council, visited Conway Park on Thursday 20th November in order to brief the students on their roles and responsibilities at the event.
