National Science and Engineering Week

National Science and Engineering Week (NSEW) is a ten day celebration of science, engineering and technology which will run from the 6 – 15 March 2009. Last year around 1.4 million people attended over 3,500 events across the UK and this year we aim to make it even bigger!

We are hosting our own Science Event here at Wirral Met on the 11th March starting at 11am until 4pm.

Metronova

thumbs-metronova23 creative artists on the second year of their fine art degree course at Wirral School of Art (WMC) are exhibiting their most recent works in “Metronova”.

The exhibition is not themed, the work too eclectic to be categorised. The artists work in their own individual styles, for their own journey of development. They labour with their obsessions, to bring you their passion, Art.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this dynamic show of contemporary art being held in the prestigious Novas Contemporary Urban Centre. From the 11th March to the 19th March (Private view on the 10th March) you will have the opportunity to view a diverse mix of the most up to date art. From installation and sculpture to print and mixed media, within this exhibitions wide range you are sure to find something to interest and inspire.

And with the Cafe, Restaurant and bar on the ground floor of the Novas Centre you can really relax and enjoy every minute of your visit to this exciting contemporary exhibition.

So you think you’re a good listener?

This qualification will help develop your listening skills in order to help you:
