Michelle Rowley and her print students have recently returned from Utah, where they worked with the Fine Art department at Brigham Young University in Provo, USA for two weeks, producing Artist’s Books for an Exhibition. Working with students of mixed abilities, Michelle and her team produced 35 pieces that were exhibited at the end of the project.
Steffan Jones-Hughes, who runs the Regional Print Centre at Yale College Wrexham, was asked to nominate an innovative collaborative blog for the artists talking page of a-n Magazines blogsites, for the month of May. The print project was an ideal choice for the blog as it was a very exciting project. Steffan successfully nominated Wirral Met, which meant that the project was on the front page of the blog site for the whole month. During the trip the students posted a blog every day, except the days when they were camping in the wilderness!
