• Access to Higher Education - Art and Design
  If you wish to gain entry to a Degree course but do not have A-level qualifications, then this is the course for you. The course provides an alternative qualification to traditional A-levels and will enable you to meet the entry requirements for a degree course. Please note: You should be at least 19 years of age by 1 September of the year you wish to start an Access course. If you are under 19, you will have to pay the full (unsubsidised) cost of the course as LSC funding is not available for those under 19 on an Access course.
• BA (Hons) Fine Art
  This is a broad based Fine Art course which will enable you to develop your practical and intellectual skills. The history and theory of art will be integrated into your course. The course is validated by Liverpool John Moores University.
• BA (Hons) Fine Art (Part-time)
  This is a broad based Fine Art course which will enable you to develop your practical and intellectual skills. The history and theory of art will be integrated into your course. The course is validated by Liverpool John Moores University.
• BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation
  This is a broad based Illustration with Animation course which allows students to specialise in either Illustration or Animation at Level 2 & 3 of the course. The course will enable you to develop your practical and intellectual skills and the history & theory of Art will be a part of your course. The course is validated by the University of Chester.
• BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation (Part-time)
  This is a broad based Illustration with Animation course which allows students to specialise in either Illustration or Animation at Level 2 & 3 of the course. The course will enable you to develop your practical and intellectual skills and the history & theory of Art will be a part of your course. The course is validated by the University of Chester.
• BTEC Level 2 Firsts in Art and Design QCF
  This course is designed to help you to develop competence in all areas of Art and Design practice. You will experience work in the following areas: Drawing, Painting, Fashion, Textiles, Graphics and 3D Crafts.
• BTEC Level 3 Nationals in Diploma Art and Design QCF
  This course will enable you to experience the four main areas of Art and Design: Fine Art, Graphic Design, Sculpture/3D, Textiles Design. This will provide you with a broad range of experience to assist your progression.
• Digital Photography - Intermediate
  The course is a modular unit based course with both classroom based study and practical exercises.
• Digital Photography - Level 1
  This modular based course is aimed at digital SLR users who wish to expand their knowledge in photography. Learn to use your camera to the fullest extent possible by gaining experience in a relaxed modern facility.
• Digital Photography - Level 2
  This modular based course is aimed at digital SLR users who wish to extend their knowledge to a higher degree, this level 2 course is aimed at students who have already gained the level 1 certificate.
• Foundation Diploma Art and Design
  This course will provide you with an opportunity to develop your skills by exploring a wide range of creative activities before deciding upon your specialist area of study for your progression into Higher Education.
• Introduction to Painting and Drawing
  This programme has been developed for students to compile a portfolio of work with the aim of preparing for progression to further courses.
• Jewellery
  This is a mixed ability course teaching students a range of jewellery skills including piercing, shaping, forming, soldering, stone setting, forging, working with mixed media, patination and etching.
• Life Drawing
  This course will cover a variety of ways of drawing the life figure. There will be guidance in using the formal elements i.e. structure, proportion, line and tone, space and scale.
• Personal Development through Art & Crafts
  This is an introductory course which will give you the opportunity to explore creative ideas and encourage self expression through imaginative writing and illustration techniques.
