  This four week course is specifically designed for you to explore the many choices and options available to you for a career in construction. A four week initial assessment helps us to find out your learning level and lets you explore all of the construction trades. Your initial assessment will ensure that you are placed on the right level of course to meet your individual learning needs with appropriate subject support and guidance.
• BTEC Award Construction (Entry Level)
  The Edexcel Entry Level BTEC in Construction has been developed to give learners the opportunity to:
  • engage in learning which is relevant to them and will provide opportunities to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life
  • achieve a nationally recognised Entry Level vocationally related qualification
  • progress to employment in the Construction sector
  • progress to related vocational qualifications
• BTEC Higher National Certificate Construction
  This is a two year part-time course which prepares you for employment as a higher technician or may be used as an entry qualification to a number of construction related degree courses.
• BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Construction QCF
  This course will provide you with workshop based craft subjects and professional studies to prepare you for progression onto the National Award Construction (Full-time).
• BTEC Level 3 Diploma Construction and the Built Environment (Civil Engineering) Full-time
  This course is designed for students who wish to gain employment as a trainee within the Civil Engineering discipline or gain entry into Higher Education.

  If you are an experienced Construction Professional this course will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to enhance good practice. It will also enable you to access opportunities for senior posts and/or develop your Higher Education studies further.
• Level 2 Higher Diploma Construction and the Built Environment (14 - 19 Diploma)
  The Edexcel Level 2 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment aims to provide a broad understanding and working knowledge of:
  • design considerations and architectural features associated with the built environment
  • the specific job-roles and skills associated with the key functions in the built environment
  • the preparation and use of drawings and other technical information
  • the properties of materials used in the built environment
  • the tools and practical techniques used in the design, construction, maintenance and management of the built environment.
• Prometric Health and Safety Tests for CSCS Card
  The ConstructionSkills Health and Safety Test helps raise standards across the industry, ensuring that workers meet a minimum level of Health and Safety awareness before going on site. It now forms a key part of most major card schemes, including CSCS and its affiliates.
