• Choices
  People who are unemployed, under consultation or notice of redundancy or have recently been made redundant may be eligible to join this free skills based training course.
• Choices Plus
  Clients who have been unemployed for at least 6 months may be eligible to join this free skills based training course.
• English Move On
  This FREE course aims to develop your spelling, grammar and punctuation as well as your ability to read and respond to a range of written materials.
• English Move On Plus
  This FREE course aims to develop your spelling, grammar and punctuation; enable you identify and use a variety of written formats as well as develop your ability to read and respond to a range of complex texts.
• English Move Up
  This FREE course aims to develop your confidence in a range of writing and reading activities and develop your spelling, grammar and punctuation as well as your oral skills.
• English Start
  This is a FREE course. You will be a member of a small, friendly group. There will be a choice of what you learn and the speed at which you work.
• Gateway To Employability
  We are running a Gateway to Employment course based at Old School House and at St James Neighbourhood College. The course will last for 10 weeks in total.
• Maths Move On
  This FREE course aims to develop your understanding of a range of MATHEMATICAL skills including fractions, decimals, percentages and measurement.
• Maths Move On Plus
  This FREE course aims to develop your understanding of a range of MATHEMATICAL skills including fractions, decimals, percentages and measurement.
• Maths Move Up
  Move Up Maths is a FREE Entry 3 maths course designed to help you use number confidently in your everyday life and at work.
• Maths Start
  This is a FREE course. You will be a member of a small, friendly group. There will be a choice of what you learn and the speed at which you work.
• Step4ward
  This exciting new qualification is part of the Foundation Learning Tier. Foundation Learning Tier programmes give you the opportunity to study a wide range of skills, all of which will help you on your chosen pathway, moving into employment or further training. These programmes are studied below level 2 and you will achieve nationally recognised qualifications. You will get the chance to gain a vocational qualification linked to your chosen career. Also, these programmes will help you to improve your Maths, English and IT, plus develop the personal and social skills which employers look for. You will be given support and guidance throughout your learning journey and your progress will be reviewed with you regularly.
