This FREE course aims to develop your confidence in a range of writing and reading activities and develop your spelling, grammar and punctuation as well as your oral skills.

This is a FREE course. You will be a member of a small, friendly group. There will be a choice of what you learn and the speed at which you work.

Gateway To Employability
We are running a Gateway to Employment course based at Old School House and at St James Neighbourhood College. The course will last for 10 weeks in total.

Step4ward
This exciting new qualification is part of the Foundation Learning Tier. Foundation Learning Tier programmes give you the opportunity to study a wide range of skills, all of which will help you on your chosen pathway, moving into employment or further training. These programmes are studied below level 2 and you will achieve nationally recognised qualifications. You will get the chance to gain a vocational qualification linked to your chosen career. Also, these programmes will help you to improve your Maths, English and IT, plus develop the personal and social skills which employers look for. You will be given support and guidance throughout your learning journey and your progress will be reviewed with you regularly.
