The facility of Easylink enables Staff to get access at your external location to your main site account through a web browser, and also access to shared areas. The intention here is to remove the need to copy shared areas back and forth across outreach sites.

Logo EasylinkYou need to know your home server, you can find that on main site by clicking on my computer to see location of your My Documents directory, the N: drive.

Then, go to internet and type in the relevant url, in the address bar:

Then you should be greeted with options. (if from home you may need to click through security screens). You will also need to enter your login name and password as you go.

In theory, you should be able to double click on your home directory. First time externally this will take a while to load as it will be setting up profiles at same time, but should speed up on subsequent occasions. It may also fool you by appearing to do nothing but if you drag down the front window that you clicked on, it may all be happening in the background.

You should also be able to click on Intranet and gain access to your shared drives.
