In recognition of its work with employers, Wirral Metropolitan College has joined the select group of training providers in the country to be awarded the Training Excellence stamp in August 2011.
Training Excellence recognises those organisations that are committed to delivering the highest quality training and also achieve a measurable impact against their customers’ needs. It is an independent scheme run by research and consulting specialists in education, employment and skills, CFE.
In achieving this mark of excellence Wirral Metropolitan College has demonstrated its capability to deliver and sustain high performance now and in the future – not simply engaging customers and maintaining good relationships, but understanding customers’ business needs and responding with focused training packages delivered to high standards of quality.
Achieving Training Excellence recognition represents a gold standard; it is difficult to attain, and for that reason is a prestigious accomplishment that is only awarded to excellent training organisations.
Training Excellence replaces the Training Quality Standard that Wirral Metropolitan College achieved in 2010, and presents customers with a highly credible endorsement that is not attached to public funding.
