Higher Education Courses

Wirral Met aims to provide access to Higher Education through full-time and part-time courses which are designed to be flexible and challenging.

All higher education courses lead to nationally recognised qualifications and have to meet the quality standards demanded by the institutions and/or validating bodies which have approved them. To enable the College to deliver a range of degree and diploma courses we have entered into partnership arrangements with a number of higher education institutions including the Universities of Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield and Liverpool John Moores University. Higher National Diplomas and certificates are validated by EDEXCEL/BTEC.

International students wishing to study at degree level will need to make an application through UCAS (Universities and College Admissions Service). Application forms can be obtained direct from UCAS. Details of how to do this are available on the UCAS website: http://www.ucas.co.uk. The College’s UCAS code name is WIRMC and institutional code W73.

International students who are not studying on a student’s visa and wish to study part-time should contact the Student Services team for further details.
