Student Ambassadors
Back in March the MiPod hit Wirral Met. Over the course of three days, nearly 200 students came along and told us about feeling safe in college.
Did you know?
92% of students feel that the College is a safe and welcoming environment.
93% had no cause to complain on any issues of personal safety.
96% said that the staff made them feel respected.
Are we a healthy College?
In the spring, we held some really useful focus groups, asking your views on how health conscious the college is.
Students are concerned about healthy canteen meals. We are continuously working with 7-day to monitor and improve the quality of canteen services across all campuses.
Students want to be made more aware of services which the college offers, such as counselling and mental health services, etc.
Students want to be made more aware of local authority schemes and agencies offering support. We are working on a poster campaign making this information readily available to all students throughout the college.
The most important issues to students regarding health were:
1. Fitness
2. Smoking
3. Healthy Eating
4. Knowledge
5. Sexual Health
6. Hygiene
