Who’s Who?

The Student Union has dedicated officers elected by the students who oversee the running of the Students Union.

So far this year the Executive Student Union Officers are:-

Executive Committee:

President – Elliot O’Callaghan

Hi my name is Elliot O’Callaghan, President of Wirral Metropolitan College Students’ Union, which means that I am responsible for the running of the Students Union and for all of the campuses and their committees.

I am the public face of the Students Union and head of the executive committee which consists of another 3 Vice Presidents

My job is to liaise with all the exec officers in their roles for the benefit of students within the colleges and to promote the work that they do, as well as liaising with external bodies.

Vice President – Kathy Wylde

Hi, my name is Kathy Wylde and I am a Vice President for the Students’ Union.

My main role is the administration/finance side of the Union as well as supporting the President, Executive Committee and Campus Committees. I assist with the organisations and running of various meetings and committees at both Executive and Campus level.

Hi, my name is Layla Hedderick and I am a Vice President for the Students’ Union.

My role is in supporting the President, Executive Committee and Campus Committees.

Vice President – Philip Omijie

Hi, my name is Philip Omijie and I am a Vice President for the Students’ Union.

My role is supporting the Executive Committee and Campus Committees.

SU Administrator – Wendy Gould

Hello, my name is Wendy Gould and I am the SU Administrator here at Wirral Met.

My responsibility encompasses all of the administration duties.

This is achieved by working with many people, internal and external organisations, but mainly with the officers within the union.

Each campus has it’s own campus committee which consists of:
