Claire Dale, campaign manager at national skin cancer charity Skcin and one of their dedicated ambassadors Charlotte Kay, from Aesthetics Inc in Birkenhead, gave a skin cancer awareness training session to level 2 & 3 beauty students for Skin Cancer Awareness Month.

The students took part in the online course MASCED.uk and became accredited to help spot suspicious skin lesions on their clients. Skin cancer is the fastest growing cancer in the UK and rates in the north west in the 15-34 year old age group are alarming. You can register for FREE training here www.masced.uk or check out their new www.ispymelanoma.uk 5 minute challenge on Skcin’s social media pages.
