The Level 1 (Introductory) Diploma in Digital Media provides learners with opportunities to develop a range of skills needed for a career in the digital media sector, while also supporting routes into further study.
This course is will introduce you to the activities and demands of the digital media sector, while also providing opportunities to develop essential learning skills needed for progression into further study. Students complete a variety of core and sector focused units designed introduce and develop the skillset needed in order to showcase sector knowledge, understanding and skills.

- Creating a Storyboard
- Producing an Advert
- Creating an Animation
- Shooting a Short Film
- Making an Audio Recording
- Editing and Sharing a Media Product
This course offers a pathway onto the Level 2 Extended Certificate in Creative Digital Media Production, an apprenticeship or employment.
This is a study programme for students who are 16-18 years.
- 3 GCSE's at grade 2/E (preferably including English and Maths) or a relevant Entry Level qualification.
- A satisfactory interview and assessment.
- A satisfactory school report and reference.
