An eight week introduction to basic home maintenance for women
An introductory course for women who would like to develop their practical skills around the home. Topics we will cover are;
- How to wallpaper a feature wall
- Basic paint application
- Dealing with an appliance leak e.g. washing machine, dishwasher
- Safe use of power tools
- Wall hangings, fixings for shelves and mirrors
- Basic electrical safety
- Basic central heating checks
- Basic home security
No formal qualifications required.
Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference.
