This programme runs over 2 years, in year 1 learners will work towards completion of the Certificate in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and in year 2 they will progress onto the Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. This work-related course is taught through a mix of practical and theory using our newly equipped STEM Centre to help you learn about rapidly developing engineering technologies e.g. rapid prototyping, 3D Printing and Robotics. It will provide you with a solid foundation in key aspects of modern engineering and is one of the recommended pathways for those seeking a career in the creative and well paid field of engineering.

Four GCSE grades 9-4 (A* to C) to include, mathematics, English and physics (grade 4 or above).
Equivalent qualifications such as BTEC Level 2 in Engineering will be considered.

You will be assessed mainly by assignments.
Your skills in Mathematics, English and ICT will be developed throughout the course.
