The units have been developed to provide flexibility for this qualification. Learners will develop their knowledge and skills in a mainly practical setting which will help them prepare for further studies in vehicle accident repair industries or employment.
This qualification consists of Group A Mandatory units and Group B Vehicle Accident Repair units; both Group A Mandatory units and 9 Group B Vehicle Accident Repair units need to be successfully completed to achieve this qualification.
Relevant Entry Level qualification or 3GCSEs at Grade 2/E or above.
Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference.

This engaging and motivating Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) is generally aimed at learners 16-19 years old who have a keen interest to learn about vehicle accident repair.
Are you aged 16-18?
Study programmes are full-time courses for 16-18 year olds which include:
- A qualification such as BTEC Extended Diploma
- Meaningful work experience or preparation for work
- English and maths, if you don't already have GCSE grade A*-C in English and maths (grade 4 and above)
- Non-study activities such as tutorials, voluntary work, fund-raising/charity work, sport or trips.
Learners can typically progress to a higher level of learning such as a Level 2 Certificate or Diploma and also supplement their progress to GCSEs and other appropriate destinations, such as apprenticeships and employment.

This study programme is free for students, who are aged 16-18 on 31 August, and students aged 19-24 with an Education, Health & Care Plan.
