Apprenticeship funding
Depending on whether you pay the apprenticeship levy, the costs associated with hiring an apprentice can differ. You may be able to access money to go towards the cost of training and assessment.
If you pay the apprenticeship levy, you will receive funds to spend on training and assessing your apprentices. The government will add a further 10%.
If you don’t pay the apprenticeship levy, you will pay just 5% towards the cost of training and assessing your apprentice, whilst the government will pay the remaining 95% up to the funding band maximum.
