Students rejoiced as they received top results, offering progression routes into university, apprenticeships, and employment.

On Thursday 15th August, students across the country eagerly anticipated their results, with students attending a celebratory Results Day Breakfast for their Level 3 learners.

Students from across the college’s career-focused, vocational courses have demonstrated exceptional hard work and determination this year, which is reflected in the fantastic results they have achieved.

With many students being accepted onto their chosen university courses, looking ahead to their next stage of education and work, there was lots to celebrate.

Art students Betty-Lulu Beedles and Anna Hale celebrated achieving Distinction and Merit in their Level 3 results. 

Anna said, “Wirral Met has given me a brighter outlook on education and has given me the resources to achieved what I had hoped.” 

Meanwhile, Health and Social Care student, Amelia Allwright, is looking forward to studying Midwifery at Liverpool John Moores University, after securing her place.

Level 3 Electrical Installations student, Jay McMahon, celebrated getting his desired results and is now looking ahead to a career in the RAF.

James Ellis, achieved a Distinction in Level 3 Electrical Installations, adding that “It took a lot of hard work, but I did it!”

These exceptional results mark a significant milestone in the academic journey of these students, setting a strong foundation for their future careers. Whether they choose to pursue further education or enter the workforce, the skills and knowledge gained at Wirral Met College will undoubtedly serve them well.
