This programme is for adult learners wishing to pursue a career in Medical Health and Science related professions. This course will be accepted for progression onto Access Midwifery, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Psychology and Mental Health, Environmental and Public Health.
This course primarily covers Health, Biology, Human Physiology and other science related subjects. For adults, experience of working in the science or health related sectors would be advantageous. You will be taught over a day and half on campus, with some blended online learning. You will also get the opportunity to undertake field work as well as trips and visits.
Relevant Level 1 qualification or minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade 3/D or above (preferably including Science, Maths and English).
Satisfactory interview and assessment.

This is a full level 2 diploma and is accepted as an equivalency to GCSE in science or health subjects.
