The qualification is a single unit award qualification about applying, maintaining and removing LED gel polish products to the nails.
This qualification aims to enable you to enhance the ranges of services and techniques offered to nail services clients.
This qualification also covers the skills and knowledge required to prepare for the service and maintain effective health, safety and hygiene working practices throughout the treatment.
You will need the skills for fine work e.g. accurate use of a nail varnish brush.
You must be prepared to give and receive treatments to/from other students on your course.
An ability to communicate one to one e.g. tutor or client and in a group as part of discussions.
Relevant Level 1 qualification in Beauty (to include manicure unit).

Applicants will need to purchase a Gel Starter Kit. The cost will be approximately £107.80. Details of this will be sent to you before the course starts.
It is essential that you will bring the Gel Starter Kit with you to use on the course. This is an ideal course to get you started in the business.
