This level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness aims to introduce you to a number of ways of understanding and responding to various mental health disorders.

Entry Guidelines

Applicants must be at least 19 years old when they commence study.

Applicants may be considered on their individual skills and experience.

You do not need formal qualifications for this course. However, you must be able to read and write clearly, interpret tasks, be willing to work independently, produce answers in a legible and understandable form and organise information clearly and coherently.

No additional equipment is required.
Assessment Method

All 10 units are assessed through the building up a portfolio of evidence that covers the relevant assessment criteria.

The portfolio assessments may be made up of reports, posters, essays, worksheets and timed tasks.

To achieve the certificate you must complete all 10 mandatory units.

Access to Higher Education if you also have GCSEs including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above (4 and above under new GCSE tariff)

Pre-Access to Higher Education if you do not meet the above
