Our Level 2 Digital and Computing Technologies Intermediate course is perfect for you to gain essential IT skills and knowledge. This course will help you become confident in using digital tools and prepare you for further education or a career in the tech industry.
This programme will enable you to study a wide range of skills, all of which will help you progress on your chosen career pathway, whether that is further study or employment. Topics covered include:

- You will need 4 GCSE's at Grade 3 or above. One of the 4 GCSE's to be Maths or English at Grade 3 to study at this level.
- If you have a beginner/Introductory qualification in the subject you want to study and a maths or English GCSE at Grade 3 (or Functional Skill level 1) you can study at this level.
- Entry requirements for Level 2 courses in some sectors may be more specific. If you're unsure whether you meet these requirements, don't worry — we can help you find a suitable course that aligns with your skills and experience.

At Level 2 study, two units are externally assessed by an online examination and the rest of the units are assessed by a series of assignments.
Each unit will be graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction and the overall grade achieved at the end of the qualification will be determined by the individual unit grades
This course includes opportunities for hands-on experience with digital technologies, providing you with practical skills that are highly valued in today's job market.
You will also have access to our state-of-the-art computer labs and resources.
Upon completion, you will have the skills and knowledge recognised by employers in various industries. This qualification can lead to further education opportunities, such as Level 3 courses in computing and IT, or positions in the tech industry.
