This Carpentry and Joinery Level 1Certificate is designed to prepare you to enter the industry in your chosen craft. It has been specifically developed for delivery in a training environment using simulated conditions.

You will the following units. Unit 101 Health and Safety Unit 001 Construct a range of timber Joints Unit 108 Fix Architraves and Skirtings

Entry Guidelines
This is a Study Programme for those aged 16-18 years of age. Relevant Entry level qualification or equivalent or 3 GCSE's at grade 2/E or above. Satisfactory interview, school report and/or satisfactory reference. If English is not your first language, you may need an assessment before enrolling on this course. Assessment will be completed by practical and online tests.

Additional Information

When enrolling on a study programme you will be expected to participate in each element of the course including maths and English. You will also have the opportunity to participate in work experience this will offer some indication of working on a construction site and give you the chance to promote your skills knowledge and behaviours to an employer

This study programme is free for students, who are aged 16-18 on 31 August, and students aged 19-24 with an Education, Health & Care Plan.
