Free apprenticeship training and assessment for SMEs from now until September 2023
Are you keen to develop your existing employees and/or do you need to recruit new employees?
Wirral University Training Hospital NHS Trust is offering to allocate apprenticeship levy funding to local small to medium sized employers based in Wirral* to help them take on 100 apprentices over 100 working days.
The Trust is working in partnership with Wirral Met College who will provide the training and assessment for a wide range of apprenticeships from accounting, business administration, HR support and management to autocare technicians, bricklayers and other construction trades, dental nurses, hair professionals and beauty therapists, sports coaches and more!
To be eligible, employers must confirm they are a Wirral* based company, happy to pledge they will take on an apprentice (or more) and will be:
Willing to sign a pledge to agree that the ethics of their business are aligned to the Trust's values and behaviours:
- Caring for everyone
- Respect for all
- Embracing teamwork
- Committed to improvement
Companies must also be:
- Committed to fully supporting an apprentice for the full duration of their apprenticeship
- Responsible for paying the wages/salary to their apprentice(s)
- Provide regular feedback to Wirral Met on their apprentice's progress.
*for non-healthcare sectors, employers may be based within the Liverpool City Region.
