Last week, Wirral Met alumni Tom Roberts and Ellie Moran paid a visit to our Airline Cabin Crew students to talk to them about what it is like to work as RyanAir cabin crew.
Tom and Ellie both studied the course at Wirral Met which has set them up for an exciting career within the travel and tourism industry.
Travel and Tourism students can take advantage of a fantastic blend of teaching, trips and access to world class facilities to prepare them for this exciting career path.
Facilities available to Cabin Crew students at Wirral Met include our aircraft cabin on our Conway Park campus, designed to simulate life working as cabin crew.
Reflecting on her time at Wirral Met, Ellie said “Within a week of finishing the course I had secured my dream role. The course gave me the confidence, industry knowledge and customer service skills which I feel gave me a huge advantage when starting with Ryanair.”
Tom added “Working as Cabin Crew is so rewarding, it has given me life experience, I've made amazing friends and I've been to places I'd never even heard of. I would recommend the Cabin Crew course to anyone wanted to get into this industry. It has set me up for a successful career doing a job I always wanted to do.”
Travel and Tourism students have also been offered an exciting work placement opportunity this year. Level 3 students will work at Liverpool Cruise Terminal, gaining vital skills and industry experience.
