On Friday 5 July, Wirral Met College welcomed family, friends and students to its annual Higher Education Awards Ceremony.
The Awards celebrates the achievements of Wirral Met's higher education students, in the following curriculum areas: Art, Design & Creative Media, Social Studies, Teaching and Assessing, Business, Accounting and Human Resources, Science, Engineering, Childcare and Early Years, Counselling.
The ceremony's guest speaker was Jo Henney, Chief Executive Officer at Nugent, and Chair of Governors at Wirral Met College.
Principal Gill Banks was joined by the procession of the platform party, comprised of Deputy Mayor of Wirral, Councillor Brian Kenny, Guest Speaker and Chair of Governors, Jo Henney, and Director for Adults, Community and Higher Education, Lynn Adam.
