On Tuesday 7th October, we welcomed our Graduates, friends and families and colleagues to our annual Higher Education Awards Ceremony, held at the Floral Pavillion in New Brighton.
The awards celebrates the achievements of Wirral Met's higher education students, in the following curriculum areas: Art, Design & Creative Media, Social Studies, Teaching and Assessing, Business, Accounting and Human Resources, Childcare and Early Years, Counselling.
We were joined by Deputy Lieutenant, Liam Hanlon as a guest speaker who shared his experiences in the construction industry and starting as an apprentice.
Our Principle Gill Banks, was joined by the procession and Platform Party which compromised, Mayor of Wirral Brain Kenny, Chair of Governors Jo Henney, Deputy Lieutenant Liam Hanlon and Director for Adults, Community and Higher Education Lynn Adam.
On behalf of Wirral Met College, we wish all of our Graduates every success for the future.
