Wirral Met’s Plastering apprentices have enhanced their learning with a training day held by a world class leader in construction materials and products.
Our learners spent the day honing their plastering skills, taking part in practical sessions, presentations and Q&A’s with Saint-Gobain Weber Application Manager, Stuart Owen.
Saint-Gobain Weber is the worldwide leader in mortar solutions, and the day offered students the opportunity to apply their products and solutions in practical settings.
Our Plastering apprentices got hands on experience using a machine rendering system in our purpose-built workshop at Wirral Waters, followed by using a range of tools and techniques to fine tune their work.
Students then took part in a presentation which went into details regarding different plastering techniques and the different systems used by Saint-Gobain Weber.
At the end of the day, learners received certificates upon completion of their training.
