This course is funded by Liverpool City Region Combined Authority's Adult Skills Fund.
This is a Level 1 programme that will prepare you for re-engagement into education.
It will develop basic practical skills in preparation for progression onto a Diploma course which is recognised within the industry.
You will participate in practical activities that develop specialist techniques specific to brickwork.
This will be underpinned with some basic theory that will outline the application of safe practices within the construction industry whilst developing an understanding of the materials and equipment used in brickwork and across other trades.
There may be opportunities to engage in work experience offering an insight
into the construction industry and across other trades and their contribution
when working on a construction project.
Monday and Tuesday, 18:00 — 21:00

You must be 19 or over to study on this course.
You do not need to have any formal qualifications in this subject.
You must complete a satisfactory interview and show that you have an interest in brickwork.

PPE must be worn at all times in College and all students must arrive at sessions on time, prepared and ready to learn with pens, paper etc.
Completion of a Level 1 programme will prepare students for progression at Level 2.
