This is a level 1 programme that will prepare you for re-engagement into
education. It will develop basic practical skills in preparation for progression
onto a level 2 course, recognised within the industry.
You will participate in practical activities that develop specialist techniques specific to plastering.
This will be underpinned with some basic theory that will outline the
application of safe practices within the construction industry whilst developing
an understanding of the materials and equipment used in plastering and across
other trades.
Monday and Tuesday, 18:00 — 21:00
Start Date: January 2025
Relevant Entry Level qualification or 3 GCSEs at Grade 2/E or above.
Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference.

Study programmes are full-time courses for 16-18 year olds which include:
- A qualification such as BTEC Extended Diploma
- Meaningful work experience or preparation for work
- English and maths, if you don't already have GCSE grade A*-C in English and maths (grade 4 and above)
- Non-study activities such as tutorials, voluntary work, fund-raising/charity work, sport or trips
